Juneteenth Honorary Ambassador Application

The Juneteenth Committee is considering applications for an Honorary Juneteenth Ambassador.

Guidelines:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Is a Garland resident and an Upstanding Citizen
  • Is an active volunteer, participant, or affiliated with an organization in Garland

The City of Garland's Juneteenth Ambassador should expect to:
  1. Positively represent the City of Garland daily and at events like the NAACP MLK Parade.
  2. Be present during and enthusiastically greet those attending the City's Juneteenth event on June 14th, 2025.
  3. Be prepared to share the spirit of Juneteenth through conversations, community engagement, and advocacy.
