In partnership with USL Dallas, a United Soccer League Championship club, the City is set to welcome a Division II men's professional soccer team. "We're committed to using this team to inspire young athletes, foster community spirit, and create a new level of excitement across North Texas."

Mayor LeMay announced negotiations for a new professional and youth soccer complex at President George Bush Turnpike and Holford Road. The facility will include community soccer fields, a public plaza, USL Dallas headquarters, and a 5,000–10,000-seat stadium.
