Kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the most flavorful way possible—with UBE! Scoop N’ Buns invites you to the annual Ube Land, a vibrant celebration of all things ube, culture, and community, as part of Garland’s Asian American Heritage Festival.

What is Ube?

Ube (pronounced “OO-beh”) is a purple yam originating from the Philippines, beloved for its naturally vibrant color and slightly nutty, vanilla-like flavor. Deeply rooted in Filipino cuisine and tradition, ube has grown in popularity across the globe—especially in desserts. During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, ube stands as a sweet and powerful symbol of cultural pride, creativity, and connection within the AAPI community.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind flavor fest!

Whether you're an ube enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Ube Land is your passport to a delicious and colorful experience.

Salamat po! (Thank you!)
